- TASTING NOTE: The 2021 Post & Beam Cabernet Sauvignon exudes a vibrant perfume of wild raspberry preserves with hints of clove and confectionery spice that envelop the nose. Round and textured on the palate, the entry is layered with soft red fruit flavors, supported by leather, cassis and elegant botanical accents on the mid-palate and lovely notes of toasted espresso beans on the finish.

ABOUT THE WINE: From the dry winter and spring to a long, mild summer that continued into the harvest months, the 2021 growing season was one of beautiful
consistency. Strong spring winds brought mild shatter to our vines during
flowering; coupled with the dry conditions and minimal irrigation, grape
yields were small and concentrated. With moderate temperatures throughout
summer and early fall, and no heat spikes or early rains, the Cabernet
Sauvignon that came into the winery showed stunning aromatics and
unbelievable flavor. We expect this vintage to be one of the best on record for
the Napa Valley. Aged for 16 months in French oak, 40% new. Post & Beam
- ABOUT THE PRODUCER: Post & Beam is an offshoot of Far Niente winery. Stylistically it differs to its sister label in that its wines are more fruit focussed and less reliant on oak, and fruit is sourced from trusted growers in the Napa rather than being estate grown.

A: Yes if they have your receipt. However all alcohol orders must be picked up by an individual 18 year or older. Proof of age and sobriety are required as per RSA regulation.
