- TASTING NOTE: "Darkly floral and opening slowly in the glass, the 2021 Etna Rosso smolders up with a nuanced blend of crushed rocks and dried roses. It's soothingly round with medium-bodied weight and a saline mineral tinge up front that gives way to depths of tart cherry-berry fruits. The 2021 tapers off structured, long, yet beautifully balanced, with red inner florals and lingering exotic spice hints. - ABOUT THE WINE: Vinified in concrete tank and large oak tini (upright wooden casks) without temperaure control. Maceration skins for apx 20 days. Aged for 18 months in concrete and tini.
- ABOUT THE PRODUCER: Graci Winery is located in Passopisciaro on the northern slope of Europe's most active volcano Etna, an area of thousand-year wine tradition. The vines, with a density between 6,000 and 10,000 plants per hectare, are between 600 and 1,000 meters above sea level, part of which are ungrafted. Graci uses only indigenous grapes: Nerello Mascalese, Carricante and Catarratto with a great attention to sustainability. Cultivation of vineyards is certified organic, with careful selections and search for full maturity, limiting the yields in the vineyard to a minimum. The approach in the winery is rigorous, in search of precision and finesse. Vinification and aging take place in concrete tanks, in stainless steel, in tini and large barrels produced with very long seasoned wood. All the work is aimed at favoring the personality of the vines, keeping intact the differences and nuances between one vintage and the other, in the belief that only by satisfying and respecting the natural expression of a great territory can wines have the potential to truly evoke emotion.

A: Yes if they have your receipt. However all alcohol orders must be picked up by an individual 18 year or older. Proof of age and sobriety are required as per RSA regulation.
