- TASTING NOTE: This wine shows aromas of black cherry, blueberry, black currant, allspice and loam are followed by flavors of wild raspberries, dark berries and a crushed rock minerality. The dense entry is followed by a sweet and juicy mouth feel, supported by acidity, silky tannins and a subtle earthy finish.
- ABOUT THE WINE: The 2019 Hartford Court Russian River Valley Pinot Noir comes from a collection of small vineyards located throughout the Russian River Valley AVA. These vineyards are a combination of our Estate properties such as Arrendell, Barbieri, Bellflower, Fog Dance, Hailey’s Block, Jennifer’s, and MacLean’s Block as well as a handful of our neighbors’ vineyards located in the heart of the Russian River Valley. The sites express the essence of the Russian River Valley by showcasing the best of the neighborhoods within our AVA. Winemaking is focused on artisan techniques. All vineyards hand harvested at night with hand sorting of both clusters and berries at the winery. Pre-fermentation cold soak, indigenous yeast fermentations in small open top fermenters. Aged for 9.5 months in all French oak barrels (22% new). No fining or filtration. These gentle handling techniques help promote a silky mouth feel, greater complexity and a varietal focus. Q: Can someone else pickup my order?
A: Yes if they have your receipt. However all alcohol orders must be picked up by an individual 18 year or older. Proof of age and sobriety are required as per RSA regulation.
