- TASTING NOTE: Colour is bright, mid ruby, aromas being vibrant with pure, red berry fruits and delicate spice. Palate is richly built and splendidly fruity, having satisfying depth and a long, fresh aftertaste.
- ABOUT THE WINE: A field blend of 70% Gamay and 30% Pinot Noir. Co-fermented and raised in old oak barrels.
- ABOUT THE PRODUCER: Chassagne-Montrachet based Domaine Blain-Gagnard was founded by Jean-Marc Blain and Claudine Gagnard in the 1980s. Today the domaine cultivates 8 hectares (20 acres) of vineyards planted with a mixture of old and young vines in order to achieve increased complexity in the finished wines. Primarily a white wine producer, they have holdings in some of the Beaune's most famous Chardonnay producing vineyards including Grand Cru's Montrachet and Batard-Montrachet and Chassagne-Montrachet Premier Cru's Clos St-Jean and Les Caillerets. Their red wines are not to be forgotten though, particularly their Premier Cru Volnay and Chassagne bottlings and their excellent value Passetoutgrain.

Pickup is available during our opening hours:
Tuesday - Saturday: 12:00pm - 9:00pm
Sundays, Mondays & Public Holidays: Closed
Q: Can someone else pickup my order?
A: Yes if they have your receipt. However all alcohol orders must be picked up by an individual 18 year or older. Proof of age and sobriety are required as per RSA regulation.
