- ABOUT THE WINE: Fruit is sourced from a range of high-quality plots located exclusively in the village of St-Denis-de-Vaux, planted in clay-limestone soil between 240 and 350m altitude with average vine age of 35 years. Hand and mechanical harvesting, sorting, destemming and gravity vatting. Cold pre-fermentation followed by alcoholic fermentation with maceration for 2 weeks. 100% malolactic fermentation. Aged in stainless steel vats for 10 months.
- ABOUT THE PRODUCER: Domaine de l’Evêche is a beautiful, 12.5 hectare estate located in the Côte Chalonnaise run by Vincent Joussier who purchased the domaine in 1985. The vineyards produced wine in the middle ages, however most of the vines were ripped up in the early 20th century and replanted with fruit trees. Vincent’s replanted the land with Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Aligote and set about remaking the estate. Today the estate is run sustainably with HVE (High Environmental Value) certification with the focus on producing high quality, great value Burgundy wines.

Q: Can someone else pickup my order?
A: Yes if they have your receipt. However all alcohol orders must be picked up by an individual 18 year or older. Proof of age and sobriety are required as per RSA regulation.
