- TASTING NOTE: Dark red to black in colour, there are notes of dark berry fruit with fruitcake, spice and chocolate, the palate finishing fruity and refreshing.
- ABOUT THE WINE: Labrusca is the ancient Roman name for the family of Lambrusco grape varieties, believed by many to be among the earliest grapes used to produce wine. The wines is made using the Martinotti, or Charmat method, and spends between three and four months in tank on lees to achieve a lightly sparkling wine that is incredibly refreshing and delicious at the table.
- ABOUT THE PRODUCER: The Lini family are fourth generation vignerons dedicated to producing a range of Lambruschi in the 'Stomach Of Italy', Emilia-Romagna. The estate began producing wine in 1910 and is now in the hands of siblings Fabio, Alicia and Massimo and is certified organic. Their aim is to produce world class sparkling wines that eschew the sweet, industrially produced Lambruschi of the past. Critically acclaimed by the Gambero Rosso as the best producer of Lambrusco in the world, their wines are light, vibrant, delicate and savoury that hold their own on any dinner table.

Pickup is available during our opening hours:

Q: Can someone else pickup my order?
A: Yes if they have your receipt. However all alcohol orders must be picked up by an individual 18 year or older. Proof of age and sobriety are required as per RSA regulation.
