- TASTING NOTE: A wonderfully complex, modern Margaret River Sauvignon Blanc expression. Fermented wild in large-format French oak with a portion of full skins contact, it is aromatic, savoury, textural and layered with a long, dry finish. The perfect aperitivo or accompaniment for rich seafood and poultry.
- ABOUT THE WINE: A new style of Sauvignon Blanc for Margaret River. Refined winemaking techniques, in particular a focus on wild fermentation, highlight the exciting complexities of the powerful, aromatic, and savoury elements of Margaret River Sauvignon Blanc. The portion of full skins fermentation is very clearly an influence at a higher percentage this year. This represents a further evolution of style, bringing a darker colour and deeper, riper-looking fruit implication, adding incredible texture and structure to the palate. The wine was allowed to develop in beautiful, mostly older, large format French oak for 11 months before blending, followed by a further 4 months to harmonise and refine before bottling. From a much cooler season, this is a fresher, more perfumed and elegant Sauvignon Blanc.
- ABOUT THE PRODUCER: Established in 1967 by regional pioneer Dr Tom Cullity, Vasse Felix is Margaret River's founding wine estate. Their wines reflect the strengths of Margaret River, with a focus on Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay, as well as Shiraz and Sauvignon Blanc/Semillon blends. Under the ownership of the Holmes a Court family since 1987, the estate have carefully expanded their vineyards to include four distinct and exceptional sites around the Margaret River region. Each vineyard is matched to the best possible varieties and clones, and farmed sustainably using traditional and organic practices. As of 2020, the first of their vineyard blocks were NASAA organic certified.

A: Yes if they have your receipt. However all alcohol orders must be picked up by an individual 18 year or older. Proof of age and sobriety are required as per RSA regulation.
