- TASTING NOTE: Classic Provence rose here. Blushing pink, strawberries, light cream, a touch of grip gives the wine shape. Some dried red fruit characters too and a slight savouriness and perky acidity.
- ABOUT THE WINE: From 30 year old vines. Grapes are night harvested, when temperatures are cooler, to preserve crispness, aromas and to protect the berries from oxidation. The direct pressing is carried out in a pneumatic press, offering a softer pressing action. After a partial cold maceration, the alcoholic fermentation occurs at a low temperature (16-18°C). After clarification, the wine is matured in stainless steel tanks with regular stirring of the lees. The fine lees will protect the wine from oxidation and will bring complexity and texture to the blend.
- ABOUT THE PRODUCER: Family owned for three generations, Rameau d'Or are dedicated to the production of Provence rose and the South of France's slow way of life. Their vineyards in Côtes de Provence are located in the very south-east of France, all along the Mediterranean coast from the regional capital of Marseille to the border of northern Italy. With sun-drenched days and cooling afternoon breezes, it’s fittingly the home of rosé and houses some of the best vineyards in the world. The terroir of the region is as beautiful as it is complex. The soil and sub-soil are composed of limestone from the Triassic and Jurassic period, with some clay-limestone variation, producing aromatically complex wines with striking natural acidity.

A: Yes if they have your receipt. However all alcohol orders must be picked up by an individual 18 year or older. Proof of age and sobriety are required as per RSA regulation.
