- ABOUT THE WINE: Fruit is sourced form the En Charlemagne and Le Charlemagne vineyards and vinified as three parcels from different terroirs and altitudes. Fermentation begins in stainless steel and finishes in casks to which it is transferred 5-6 days later. Matured in oak barrels (33% new) for 12 months and the separate cuvées are then assembled in stainless steel before being returned to cask for another 6 months prior to being bottled.
- ABOUT THE PRODUCER: Family owned from the French revolution till 2017 (when it was sold to US businessman Stanley Kroenke), Bonneau du Martray is dedicated to the production of two grand crus: Corton (red) and Corton-Charlemagne (white). It is the only estate in Burgundy to make wines exclusively from Grand Cru vineyards, which they manage with biodynamic principals. As of 2019 the famed Vosne-Romanee producer Domaine Romanee Conti have leased part of the Corton Charlemagne vineyard to produce a second white wine in their own esteemed range. Must be pretty good fruit then!!

A: Yes if they have your receipt. However all alcohol orders must be picked up by an individual 18 year or older. Proof of age and sobriety are required as per RSA regulation.
